Janneke has always been fascinated by the workings of the human body. Her favourite childhood TV-show was ‘Once Upon a Time… Life’, which was an adventure through the human body. At the age of 6, she got into competitive swimming and kept this up during her student years. Alongside swimming, her interest in sports varied between volleyball and more recent fitness, running and yoga.
In her studies, health was always the centre of interest. During this period, she also developed a great interest in management, organization and coordination. She joined the board of her student swimming club and organised several events. After her studies, she started working at Lifeguard as a project employee and training coordinator. Janneke loves a good challenge. In 2009 she took a sabbatical to live in Israel for 3 months to study Hebrew and learn about the local culture. In 2011, she went trekking in the Everest region in altitudes up to 5500 meter. The year after, she emigrated to Israel where she lived and worked for over 3 years. As much as from her studies she gained a lot from these times abroad. She currently combines her work with pursuing a degree in Nutrition & Dietetics.
At Mentally Fit, Janneke combines her skills and knowledge to help energize people, balance their lives and aim for higher performance. Janneke shows a lot of positive energy and drive to push forwards and help develop and sustain high quality projects.
